About the Austen Mini
The Austen Mini is a smaller version of the Austen Book Bag. It is large enough to fit essentials and a Kindle.
Finished size: Approximately 8" x 2.5" x 9.5"
Level of difficulty for this pattern is 3 out of 5. This bag is domestic friendly, though the use of vinyl is required. It requires basic sewing skills along with knowledge and experience in the following:

- 1/2 Yard Exterior Fabrics
- 1/4 Yard of Interior Fabrics
- 1 Roll of 18" Vinyl
- Interfacing as needed
- Fusible Stabilizer (Fusible Fleece, DH, or DL)
- 1" wide webbing (57")
- #5 Zipper Tape (12")
- 2 Magnets
- 2 Rectangle Rings
- 1 Adjustable Slider
- 1, #5 Zipper Pull
- 2 Rivets *optional*
- Edge coat: base, color, top coat *optional*

About the Pattern
This product is a digital download. It is a PDF pattern, not a physical product! Once payment has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with a link to download the files electronically.
The download includes 4 files. Files include instructions and the pattern in layers coordinating with size. They can be opened with a program that opens PDF, the recommended program to use is Adobe Reader (free!). With Adobe Reader, you can select layers.
PDF Tutorial: Interactive and full color. This file has all the information you need on how to make this pattern.
US Letter 8.5" x 11" / A4 8.3" x 11.7": The pattern will fit a US Letter and A4 size paper that you can print at your home printer. You must glue or tape the papers together.
A0 Print (36" x 48") : The pattern is on one page, you must send this file to a print shop for them to print. You will not have to glue or tape the papers together.
Projector: Specifically designed for projector use. You'll be able to easily use the pattern on your projector.
Usage and Refunds
This pattern (all files included in this sale) may not be sold, distributed, or shared. Small business owners may sell finished handmade items using this pattern. This pattern may not be used for mass manufacturing.
