Finished Size: 11.5" x 3" x 5.5"The Rue Switch Bag is a Switch inspired bag. It can be used as a Switch Case or a purse by itself. It has an Ita bag quality that allows you to showcase the amazing pins, or unique fabric, or both!
Level of difficulty for this pattern is 3 out of 5 with semi-industrial and industrial machines. This can be made with a domestic machine with consideration to materials. You know the machine best! It requires basic sewing skills along with knowledge and experience in the following:
- Zippers
- Hardware
- Binding
- Curves
- Layers
- Materials
- 1/2 to 1 yard of Vinyl
- 1/2 yard of Lining Fabric
- 1, small piece of Clear Vinyl 16-20 gauge / 0.5 - 1.0 mm
- Interfacing for woven fabrics as needed
- 1, #5 Zipper 16” (you can choose to have one or two zipper pulls)
- 2, #3 Zipper 7” (only 1 for Lite version)
- 2, D-Rings 1” wide
- 1, Adjustable slider 1” wide
- 2, Swivel Clasps (shoulder straps, you’ll need more if you’re making different styles as well)
- 2, Piping 41” (size: 5/32” cording width, 1/4” lip width)
- **optional: 2, 1” elastic 9”(for game cartridge holders)
- **optional: Decovil light or foam
About the Pattern
This product is a digital download. It is a PDF pattern, not a physical product! Once payment has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with a link to download the files electronically.
The download includes 4 files. Files include instructions and the pattern in layers coordinating with size. They can be opened with a program that opens PDF, the recommended program to use is Adobe Reader (free!). With Adobe Reader, you can select layers.
PDF Tutorial: Interactive and full color. This file has all the information you need on how to make this pattern.
US Letter 8.5" x 11": The pattern will fit a US Letter size paper that you can print at your home printer. You must glue or tape the papers together.
A0 Print: The pattern is on one page, you must send this file to a print shop for them to print. You will not have to glue or tape the papers together.
Projector: Specifically designed for projector use. You'll be able to easily use the pattern on your projector.
Projector: SVG available for cutting machines.
